Thank You From the Band

Collectively, Zamboni would like to thank the musical greats that inspired us to write these songs: Johnny Cash for his simple but cutting edge approach, Howlin Wolf and Muddy Waters for their specific intrerpretation of old style southern blues, College Radio in general for its open, non-commercial and freestyle approach, the great lyric writers, like Roger Waters from Pink Floyd who push the envelope with their pens, the great musicians, like Jimmy Page and Tony Iommi who are not only are great soloists, but great riff writers as well, the great mystics and thinkers like Ken Wilber, William Blake, Carl Jung, Sigmund Freud, etc., who inspired so many of the lyric approaches, and finally, many others too numerous to mention that serve to inspire creativity in others.

And last, but no least, and most importantly, we would like to thank Coyote for enduring a year of hearing the genesis, and production of every track of every song, having to put up with not just the final tracks, but the numerous out-takes as well!

The cover and cd booklet art consists predominantly of heavily Photoshopped montages of public domain and creative commons photographs found in various internet archives, combined with photographs of the bandmembers and items in my personal "strange stuff" collection.

My Photos were taken with a Pentax Optio Digital Camera. I hate the thing. It is very cool looking, and it is supposed to be able to do everything but the dishes for you. It is this high quality, professional grade, elaborate, loaded with all kinds of features, you have to have the manual to turn the damn thing on, and my hand isn't steady enough to take non-blurry high res photos type camera. Set me back about $300 a few years ago. When not blurry, the photos come out great. If anybody else was using it, it would probably produce museum grade photos. I should have stuck with some crappy cheap digital camera geared for teenagers at parties, I would probably take better pictures. --Coyote
